Our Springer Spaniels

Peter started his interest in working spaniels with an English Springer Spaniel. The black and white bitch, named Jen, came from the head keeper at Middleton Teesdale (Lindsay Waddle) and was out of his bitch FTCH Burnhatch Pimms.
Jen was a keen hunter and polished retriever and competed at novice level where she achieved a second place in a field trial before producing a beautiful litter. Jen's daughter from this litter (Saxaphone Tiger) earned Peter more field trial success with a first at novice level and a third in an open stake.

Saxaphone Tiger was a well marked liver and white bitch who was equally at home competing at field trials and working all day on a rough shoot. She provided Peter with many enjoyable hours shooting and proved to be a huge asset in training the Labradors.
